How do I book a motorhome rental?
It's so simple - get in touch with us 0800 368 8060 chat through your needs and if the motorhome is available for your chosen dates we send you all you need to complete the paperwork.
You can also register your interest online and we will contact you, or as stated above you can phone our office for further information and to check availability. Upon booking you will need to pay a non-refundable booking deposit of £250.00 or full payment if it’s a late booking (within 6 weeks of hire start). The full balance will need to be paid no later than 6 weeks before collection. As an insurance security you will be asked to leave a refundable security deposit of £500 upon collection. This acts as an insurance excess during your hire, and will be refunded provided that the vehicle is returned clean and undamaged as described in our terms and conditions. In the event of an insurance claim the cost of the damage or claim will be deducted from your deposit. Any cost of damage beyond the £500 deposit we hold will also be payable.
What’s the minimum period I can rent a motor home for?
The minimum rental period is 3 nights. In high season JUNE JULY AUGUST the minimum period is 7 nights, however we are flexible pending availability. In low season please call the office for late deals.
What day & time can I collect my motor home?

Where can I view or collect the motor home?
Please call our office if you wish to view a vehicle we are based in Cleobury Mortimer DY14 8DQ, but please be aware it might be out on hire.
Who can drive the motorhomes?
Anyone between the ages of 25-75 with 2 years driving experience and a clean licence (6 minor points)
Younger drivers over 23 are allowed but there is a small premium.
If you have more convictions please contact us with your endorsements and we’ll certainly try to assist in your motorhome hire.
What documents do I need to provide?
We send you an email detialing what to provide when we send you the rental agreement, all will become clear!
Your full driving licence – After 8th June 2015 the paper counterpart will become obsolete. As we will require confirmation of your endorsements or lack of we will need to access your online DVLA record. This can be done with the use of your National Insurance number via this link: https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence Once you have logged in, please select the “Share your licence information” option and select “Create a code”. This code is valid for 21 days and must be supplied ASAP so all can be checked, we used to do it on the day but its so much easier doing as soon as you book. All parties are then confident the hire is in order. Why wait until the last minute?
Two proofs of address – These can be utility bills (except mobile phone bills), bank statements or credit card bills, however they do need to be dated within the last 3 months. Again the new policy is to get these in as soon after the booking or even better with the booking.
We cannot allow you to hire from us if the paperwork is not correct. It’s simple, no paperwork, no hire!

What documents do I need to provide if I am not from the UK?
Your full driving licence issued by your country of residence.
Your international driving licence if you’re driving licence is written in a different language to the one of the renting country.
A copy of your UK campsite reservation confirmation.
How will I know how to use equipment in the motorhome?
All our motor homes have easy to use booklet guides which cover all equipment from oven to heating to TV’s for our customers ease. You will be given a comprehensive demonstration upon collection. If you need further assistance please call our Technical line or if it’s a minor problem please use our text facility for a swift response after 9pm.
Will the motorhome be warm enough to use in the winter?
All our motorhomes are designed for all year round use. They all have high levels of floor, wall and roof insulation, on-board water tanks to avoid freezing and blown-air central heatingworking off gas and electricity.

Inventory List - What is provided, what should I take?
We provide a range of crockery, cutlery and utensils for you to use along with a range of safety equipment. You will need to provide your own bedding (fitted sheets provided) such as pillows and sleeping bags, towels, although these can be provided at an additional cost.
Make sure you have taken out travel insurance to cover you in the event that you lose or damage any of your personal possessions as we cannot be held responsible for any personal items.

There is lots more, we have tried to cover any requirement you may have to make your break an enjoyable one. If there is anything you think we have missed, please buy it and we will pay for it on your return. We want to make sure everything is perfect for your holiday.
Where can I park the motorhome or camp at night?
Please be considerate when parking the motorhome and remember that parking overnight at the side of the road is not permitted in England. Scotland however, allows wild-camping particularly in the Highlands and Islands.
It’s best to book campsites in advance, particularly in high season to avoid disappointment. We provide a Privilege Card for the Camping and Caravanning Club free with every hire, which gives you member rates at over 120 award winning UK and Northern Ireland campsites. Each motorhome is a member of Britstop which provides a free stop over for one night. All details provided with site guides within each motorhome.
Where possible, hard standing pitches are the most desirable as they make parking easy. Check the facilities available with the campsite, and whether there is mains power. Also remember to ask what facilities are close to your pitch, such as a children’s play area. Oftenthe best pitches are when you are within hose reach of the water supply, great for topping up when you all want a shower!
Can I take my Motorhome abroad?
With pleasure - of course you can take our motor home to Europe/Ireland, although prior notice must be authorised before your date of travel. An additional £95/week or hire is charged to cover green cards and additional insurance/breakdown costs.
There are no mileage limits but if you are going to try to get to Spain, we would advise 2 weeks + will be required, you have to stop and enjoy where you are!
Where can I leave my car whilst I'm away?
We offer parking at our rear access drive, it will be closed in by our own cars so secure for the majority of the time, it’s a very low crime area but the parking does not come with a guarantee.
What if I accidentally damage the motorhome?
Keep calm – accidents happen, call our offices and advise what damage has occurred we might be able to rectify it over the phone or if out of hours, text for minor damage or call our technical emergency line where you will be given further instructions.
Can I return the motorhome outside of normal opening hours?
Yes you can return the motorhome at any time. The business is run from home for now so easy for us to accommodate this. Please let us know as you don’t want to be greeted by me with a grumpy face and a night gown!
